European Commission
Hendrik Heinrichs has been active in the European Commission’s Research Ethics process since 2010. He has been a member of numerous ethics panels in Framework Programme 6 and 7, in Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe. He started to chair panels in 2015.
Academic Teaching
He has been teaching ethics for Scientist in several different programms such as graduate schools of the University of Bonn and the standard curriculum at the Universities of Erfurt and Aachen. In addition he regularly held full day Good Scientific Practice Courses at Research Centre Jülich.
In addition he gives talks on ethics processes for several institutions such as for example the National Contact Points for EU Research.

Hendrik Heinrichs is a founding member and current vice chair of the Commission for Ethics in Research of the Forschungszentrum Jülich.
